Office moving checklist for furniture supplies and building access.
Give the office move one current inventory and one person coordinating changes. Use this checklist to prepare the furniture and supplies move while your staff or providers manage IT, records and reopening tasks.
Start the checklistPut responsibilities beside the schedule.
Work through departure, transport and receiving with both property contacts. An office relocation may have tasks that belong to your business rather than the movers. Identify those tasks before asking Rhino to review the requested work. Use the checkboxes and worksheet for private planning notes, then print them before leaving; this page does not send or save the entries.
No account needed. Checkmarks and worksheet notes are not sent or saved. Print your notes before leaving this page.
1. Assign the inventory and packing work.
Use destination rooms or departments that the receiving contact can identify.
List desks, chairs, cabinets, shelving and approximate boxes by room. Mark items staying and unusual equipment needing separate review.
Assign who empties desks, packs contents and prepares supplies. Identify any packing or furniture preparation you want Rhino to review.
Assign backups, disconnection, reconnection and sensitive-record handling to your own staff or providers. Keep the readiness of those tasks visible on the move plan.
2. Confirm both properties.
A business name or suite number does not explain the route to the truck.
Record both addresses, suites, floors and the people who authorize entry. Collect loading and elevator instructions plus any requested documents.
Confirm who arranges each building appointment. Share proposed moving hours with Rhino and obtain availability before relying on them.
Give furniture and boxes destination rooms. Name the person who can direct placement and approve changes at arrival.
Your office handoff inventory
Add a few notes below or print the blank worksheet. On a narrow screen, scroll the table sideways. Use your own saved list if you need more space.
| Item / group | Destination room | Preparation owner | Proposed stage | Open question |
|---|---|---|---|---|
3. Review the final moving handoff.
Keep physical delivery distinct from operational reopening.
Read back the inventory, preparation, access and agreed charges. Report additional items, stops or changed room plans before moving day.
Name one authorized coordinator and provide onsite contacts at both premises. Tell Rhino promptly when a building or contractor changes an arrangement.
Assign your own equipment, network and business-readiness checks after delivery. Do not treat the furniture’s arrival as a guarantee that the business can reopen at a fixed time.
The crew and preparation behind the move.
These company photos show the crew, vehicles and loading preparation. For your office move, discuss the actual furniture inventory, packing responsibilities and building access before booking.

Questions before you book.
Does the office checklist book an after-hours move?
No. Share the hours you prefer and both buildings’ moving rules with Rhino, then confirm availability and charges before booking.
Can we keep the office open throughout the move?
Plan continuity with your own team and providers. Discuss the proposed sequence with Rhino without assuming zero downtime or that moving furniture completes IT and reopening work.
What goes in the inventory worksheet?
Record each item or group, its destination room, preparation owner, proposed stage and unresolved access questions. Update the list when decisions change.
