Apartment moving checklist for access and loading.
Use this apartment checklist once you know the buildings involved. Gather both properties’ access instructions, connect them to the furniture inventory and keep inspection, keys and cleaning visible beside the moving appointment.
Start the checklistOne checklist for the departure and the arrival.
Walk through the building-to-building sequence with the people responsible for access. The checklist is a planning aid, not a building reservation or a quote submission. Check items as you review them, add private notes in the worksheet and print them before leaving. Entries stay on the current page and are not sent or saved.
No account needed. Checkmarks and worksheet notes are not sent or saved. Print your notes before leaving this page.
1. Confirm the contacts and building windows.
Complete this check for both addresses, even if only one is an apartment.
Record the building contact, unit, floor and person granting access. Ask about the approved moving entrance, hours and requested documents.
Confirm who makes any reservation and where loading is permitted. Share the instructions with Rhino and ask what the team can provide before relying on the arrangements.
Identify who controls the proposed truck location. Ask the city about public-road questions and the manager about private loading; do not assume visitor parking is reserved for a move.
2. Match the furniture to the carrying route.
Describe the actual belongings and access rather than relying only on the floor number.
List large pieces, dimensions and any doorway or landing concern. Discuss preparation or disassembly before booking.
Choose destination room names and label boxes consistently. Mark items staying behind or moving separately and keep essentials available.
Record the onsite contact at each end and any additional stop. Make sure someone can answer entrance and placement questions.

3. Read back the handover plan.
A moving appointment, inspection and key return are separate arrangements to coordinate.
Distinguish requested windows from confirmed access. Contact Rhino promptly if keys, dates or building instructions change.
Keep documents, medication, chargers, keys and overnight belongings accessible. Coordinate cleaning and inspection with the property contact.
Confirm both addresses, inventory, requested tasks and charges with Rhino. Check that the current building instructions are part of the conversation.
A closer look at moving-day preparation.

Does this checklist reserve elevators or parking?
No. Arrange building reservations with the responsible property contact and ask the relevant authority about public-road access. Share the confirmed instructions with Rhino.
Can I use it for an apartment-to-house move?
Yes. Review the departure building and the destination home separately, including the receiving entrance and room plan.
Where should I request apartment movers?
